Client Z has a beautiful shelf in her living room. It serves as a drop zone for her family’s daily essentials such as wallets, keys and face masks, and also holds some personal documents and her sons’ toys. She was having difficulty keeping the shelf functional and aesthetically-pleasing at the same time.

To save space, we removed all of the packaging for the puzzles and kept them in ziploc bags in clear shoe boxes. We also added more fabric bins to contain big chunky toys. Bins are an easy storage solution for kids and these ones match her home’s aesthetic too!

Client M receives media kits regularly and piled them up on the table as it was a quick solution for her.

We designed a system for her where every item has its designated home. Now, she has easy access to her shelves, knows where she can find what she needs, and can even see and use that beautiful marbled table.

Client A doesn’t have much in her store room but wanted a better system to keep it organised.

We kept frequently used items such as toiletries and paper bags on the more accessible second and third shelves. For bulky items, we consolidated them and placed them on the bottommost rack for safety. Less-used empty luggage bags were placed vertically with handles facing out to maximise vertical space and make retrieving the bags easy.

For Client K’s study, the goal was to keep books and stationery accessible.

We moved the books down and used shelf racks to maximise the vertical space in the shelves, keeping extra stationery supplies and sentimental items further up. Try colour-coding your bookshelf like this too!

Dead corners in your wardrobe? We fixed this issue for Client A by installing bins to contain different categories of clothing. Bins create an easy system for wardrobe rotation, but they’re not the best solution for soft items of clothing. For those, we file folded the items and put them into drawers for quick and easy access.

As a make-up artist, Client M has a huge stash of make-up supplies.

We kept the original system she had put in place but helped her to maximise the use of vertical space. We also added some new open bins to give her easy pull-out access to items on the taller shelves.
